Meet the Team!

Austin Atkinson

Austin Atkinson

Austin is a National Account Manager and has been with CDS for 11 years. Specializing in LTL, truckload, air, rail, and oversized freight, he’s built a reputation for handling complex transportation needs with speed, efficiency, and precision. Since joining CDS right after attending the University of Oregon, Austin has become a go-to resource for customers who trust him to get the job done right—no matter how big or complicated. Originally from Eugene, Oregon, Austin now lives in Star, Idaho, where life outside of logistics is just as full. He’s an avid golfer, enjoys fishing, camping, and Oregon football, and most of all, treasures time with his family while raising three kids.

Ben Lill

Ben Lill

Ben has been with CDS for nearly 30 years, working in daily operations, updating tracing, and helping customers. In his free time, he is an avid hiker and enjoys being outdoors.

Braysen Haines

Braysen Haines

Braysen has been in the logistics game since 2022, managing a wide range of freight across industries and regions. He’s quickly earned a reputation for being sharp, reliable, and easy to work with. He knows how to keep freight moving and customers informed, no matter how tight the timeline or complex the move. Braysen brings a hands-on and detail oriented approach to every shipment, and clients count on him to get the job done without the drama. Born and raised in Portland, Braysen still calls the city home. Outside of work, he’s usually chasing elevation on a mountain bike, at a campsite, or at a live show. And when fall rolls around, you can bet he’s in the stands cheering for the Oregon Ducks or Washington State Cougars.

Crystal Jones

Crystal Jones

Born and raised in Oregon, Crystal has been a dedicated professional in the freight and logistics industry for over 20 years, with experience ranging from international carriers to local cartage companies. Since joining CDS in 2016, she has played a pivotal role in managing some of the company's most challenging oversize flatbed shipments, ensuring timely and secure deliveries. Now residing in Arizona with her husband, Crystal is one of our valued remote employees. Outside of work, she has a passion for the outdoors. Whether it's hunting, boating, snowboarding, or just about any other adventure, she’s always on the move. Crystal is a proud mother of two: her eldest is currently pursuing a career in the medical field, while her youngest is a standout athlete at Tualatin High School. She is also a dedicated stepmom, and her stepdaughter plays volleyball year-round.

Dave Penni

Dave Penni

With 37 years of experience as a Sales Representative in the Transportation Industry, including the last 25 years at CDS, Dave has witnessed many changes over the decades. Through it all, he and the incredible team at CDS have consistently adapted to meet the evolving needs of their customers, ensuring operations run as smoothly as possible. He considers it a true blessing to have had the opportunity to work at CDS and looks forward to finishing his career with the company. Outside of work, Dave and his wife Jeanette enjoy the occasional cruise, a round of golf, and relaxing with a cold beverage on the deck. Of course, they also make time for whatever the real boss of the house, their dog Kai, has in mind.

Diana Meyers

Diana Meyers

Diana has been with CDS since 1999 and has been committed to the long haul. Over the years, she has taken on many roles including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, and Customer Care. She enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors, especially in tropical destinations. In her free time, she loves being with family.

Jeremy Pashak

Jeremy Pashak

A Beaverton native, Jeremy has lived and worked in Oregon his whole life. He joined CDS in 2017 shortly after graduating from the University of Oregon and also has two years of experience loading and unloading trucks at a busy warehouse. In addition to LTL and FTL, he is also familiar with container drayage from ports and railyards across the country. Jeremy's hobbies include drawing, running, gaming, shooting, and snowboarding.

John Reeves

John Reeves

As a life long Oregonian, John grew up in Lake Oswego. John brings a strong background in the logistics industry, where he has been working since 2016. He joined CDS in late 2024, bringing with him extensive experience in full truckload (FTL) operations. Outside of work, John is an avid outdoors enthusiast. He enjoys golfing, hiking, camping, and occasionally hitting the ski slopes. As an Oregon State University alumnus, John is always rooting for the Beavers.

Kelly Hyde

Kelly Hyde

Kelly has been working in sales on the trucking side of the business for almost 38 years. He spent his first 16 years with Consolidated Freightways and has been with CDS since 2002. Outside of work, his wife is a classical violinist, and they spend a lot of time traveling together to various venues. Kelly stays active by going to the gym five mornings a week and enjoys getting in plenty of walking outdoors. Oh and one more thing: Go Beavs!

Tim Myshak

Tim Myshak

Tim has been with CDS since 1998 and has enjoyed being a part of the successes and challenges that CDS has seen over the years. When he is not at his desk staring at numbers, he enjoys time with his wife Barbara on the Oregon coast, hiking, kayaking, dog walking, cooking or kicking back enjoying a glass of whatever someone puts in front of him. He has two awesome daughters. One a graduate from Oregon State University (Go Beavs!) and the other from George Washington University in DC. In addition, he has a very cool Shiba Inu dog (who happens to be very stubborn) and a cat that only wants attention on her terms.

Chase Bennink

Chase Bennink – President

Chase grew up around freight. After spending summers helping at the company his dad founded in 1987, he officially joined full time in 2016 and hasn’t looked back. From his early days as an account manager to now leading the team as President, Chase has seen just about every type of freight move under the sun. That hands-on experience has given him a deep well of tribal knowledge, which comes in handy when tough transportation problems need solving (or when a quote needs a second set of eyes). Born and raised in Tigard, Chase still calls the Portland area home. Outside the office, you can usually find him on the ski slopes in the winter or lifting weights year round, preferably with a good playlist and a strong cup of coffee. He’s also a proud Oregon Duck and never misses a chance to cheer on the green and yellow during football season.
